The official kick-off meeting of CRC 1772 will begin with a mandatory internal council meeting for all Principal leaders (Pls), during which we will review and adopt the CRC’s internal regulations ("Geschäftsordnung").

This will be followed by a 45-minute scientific talk by Ado Jorio (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil), open to all CRC members, with a discussion session afterwards.

Title: Nano-Raman Spectroscopy in 2D (hetero)Structures

Abstract: In this talk I will review our work on the development of tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS) and its applications in graphene, transition metal dichalcogenides and related systems, such as twisted- and hetero-structures. Efforts on TERS tip development will be addressed. Applications on surface effects and the influence of defects will be discussed.

We will close the day with a casual celebration and group photos.
